Kim Namjoon, also know as "RM" in the one of the biggest and sensational boybands, BTS. His role is the leader, main rapper, and usually the spokesperson for the group in American based interviews. He is also a lyricist and producer in most of the groups songs and has dedicated his time in learning and experiencing things such as any mistakes and music production to improve their work. He is also apart of an anti-bullying UNICEF campaign and has earned his Cultural Merit Badge. His hometown is in Islan, South Korea and started his career as an underground rapper. He then joined BigHit Ent. at age 16 where he began to work hard to pursue his desire to become a successful rapper and get his voice out. He has worked with many western artists in their work, such as Fall Out Boy, Wale, And Marvel. He is the only BTS member who knows fluent english and he taught himself English.
